Every field of a Google Play app record, explained
Installs labels versus exact installs, rating histograms, content ratings, Android requirements and the status of removed apps.
Installs: two numbers
Google Play shows a rounded label such as 10M+. The record keeps that label in installs.label, its lower bound in installs.min, and a closer estimate in installs.real. Use min for filtering and sorting; it is what the store itself uses for thresholds.
Ratings
rating.score is the average from 1 to 5, rating.ratings the number of ratings, rating.reviews the number of written reviews, and rating.histogram five counts from one star to five. A histogram tells more than the average: a 4.1 with a heavy one-star bar is a polarising app.
Pricing and monetisation
pricing.free, price and currency describe the upfront price; offers_iap and iap_range describe in-app purchases; contains_ads says whether the listing declares ads.
Versions and dates
version is the current version name, android_min the minimum Android version (often "Varies with device" for large apps). released and updated are store dates; status.fetched_at is when the record was last refreshed.
Removed apps
Apps leave the store all the time. Their records stay, with status.removed: true and removed_seen_at, the first night they were missing. That makes the removed list useful for compliance checks and competitor tracking.
